What we do
MAESTRAL designs, manufactures, and provides sustainment solutions for advanced surface and subsea vessels that are playing a key role in future-focused maritime defence, security and coast guard engagements in the UAE and around the world. As a naval solutions provider, we are at the cutting edge of maritime defence, interdiction, and rescue, helping customers stay ahead of the rapidly evolving defence landscape. New threats and vulnerabilities demand the out-of-the-box innovative platforms, systems and technologies we deliver.
With access to the extensive technical, manufacturing, financing and commercial capabilities of its two joint-venture partners, MAESTRAL’s in-house engineering design and service capabilities develop intellectual property solutions to meet the full range of bespoke customer fleet requirements.We produce a range of surface vessels, including offshore patrol vessels, corvettes, light frigates, and oceanographic, landing platform deck, and service ships. We also are engaged in the design, development and production of underwater technologies, including unmanned systems for critical underwater infrastructure protection and seabed mapping, next-generation submarines, drone-carrier ships, and lightweight torpedoes. This work will contribute to the UAE’s position as a regional pioneer in underwater technology innovation.
Tapping into the relationships of both parent companies with leading international OEMs, we complement our shipbuilding and sustainment capabilities with systems integration solutions covering weapons, ISR sensors, and command and control systems.
