Leveraging the strengths of two government-owned defence domain leaders, Abu Dhabi-based MAESTRAL provides tailored near-shore and open ocean solutions in the 50m-to-110m range for navies, coast guards and security services worldwide.

Established in 2025, MAESTRAL is a joint venture company that brings together UAE-based EDGE Group’s advanced technologies and global collaborations with Italy-headquartered Fincantieri’s more than 200-year history as one of the world’s largest shipbuilders. Together, they serve customers with 21st-century technologies, vast resources, and capabilities spanning three continents.

The company leverages Fincantieri’s proven portfolio and develops new IP and naval designs for vessels ranging from fast patrol boats to light frigates. Agile in responding and reacting to customer requirements, MAESTRAL delivers tailored design, manufacturing, and lifecycle services as an essential partner to UAE and international customers pursuing fleet modernisation.
